TimeMap began with a question about scale: how can 5,000 years of history feel open to exploration rather than compressed into a timeline?
The project turns cities, places and cultural connections into a navigable experience, allowing each moment to become an entry point to a larger historical landscape.
Research
Research brought together timelines, geographic references and cultural connections across centuries. The aim was not to reproduce an archive, but to define a clear framework in which events, places and people can be encountered in relation to one another.
Visual System
The interface works as a visual system for orientation. Maps, temporal markers and concise editorial cues make it possible to move across history without losing the thread between location, period and context.
Outcome
TimeMap is an interactive invitation to approach history through exploration. The research film introduces its perspective; the live experience opens it into a system that can continue to grow.
