Creative Director · Cultural Storyteller · Agency‑in‑a‑Box
I'm Chiara Alduini — an independent Creative Director, Cultural Storyteller, Illustrator and Web Designer with more than 20 years of international experience.
My work sits at the intersection of culture, identity, heritage and visual communication. I collaborate with cultural institutions, NGOs, embassies and purpose-driven organisations that need more than branding — they need a complete narrative world. A coherent visual language shaped through strategic thinking, cultural sensitivity and strong artistic direction, from naming and identity systems to websites, campaigns, publications and immersive environments.
One creative vision, from concept to execution. Strategic depth with the clarity of a single authorship.
My core expertise is cultural storytelling: translating complex histories, identities and values into visual systems that feel both rigorous and emotionally alive. Over the years I have worked with institutions including the Italian Embassy in Amman, Società Dante Alighieri, UNESCO, OVS, Loescher Editore and Terme di Sirmione, as well as organisations across Italy, Jordan and the wider Middle East. In 2004, I was invited to lead an information design workshop during Design Week Amman.
Alongside commissioned work, I maintain an independent artistic practice focused on digital frescoes, archival collage and illustrated narrative worlds rooted in historical, symbolic and anthropological research. This personal exploration continuously informs my professional work, allowing me to approach each project with both conceptual depth and visual experimentation.
For me, strategy and artistry are never separate disciplines. Every project I create is built through both.
If you want to know more about who I am — beyond the work — the best place to start is The Cabinet: a space where I collect the art, music, symbols and visual culture that feed my curiosity and shape my thinking.
