Italy and Jordan 1949–2024: 75 Years of Friendship and Collaboration
Exhibition at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, Amman
The photographic exhibition “Italy and Jordan: 75 Years of Friendship and Cooperation” was inaugurated at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman, celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The exhibition retraces some of the most significant cultural and institutional exchanges since 1949.
The display is divided into three sections:
- Institutional Relations, highlighting meetings and visits between heads of state and government;
- Lifestyle and Culture, showcasing everyday life and artistic connections;
- Landscapes and Heritage, focusing on the natural and architectural beauty of both countries.
- All photographs come from Italian and Jordanian news agency archives, offering a visual journey through 75 years of friendship, collaboration, and shared history.
The exhibition was organized by the Italian Embassy in Amman in collaboration with the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. I curated the visual, graphic, and textual design of the exhibition, developing the panels, typographic layout, and overall visual narrative to reflect the enduring cultural harmony between Italy and Jordan.
